GUSA Fund Staff
Chair - Murphy Kate Delaney
Murphy Kate Delaney is a Junior in the College from Seaside Park, New Jersey majoring in Mathematics and Government. She is currently the Chair of the GUSA Fund. This is Murphy Kate's third year as a member of the GUSA Fund and she has previously served as the Vice-Chair and the Director of Communications and Outreach. In addition to the GUSA Fund, Murphy Kate is the President of GAAP, the President of InterHall, the Co-Chair of the Discovery Initiative, and is a Resident Assistant in Darnall Hall. Her greatest wish is that Leo's will start serving Pork Roll and Cheese sandwiches and Wawa Chocolate Milk.
Vice-Chair - Talia Dutcher

Talia is a junior in the College from Douglassville, Pennsylvania. She is pursuing a double major in Mathematics and Economics. This year is her second on the GUSA Fund where she is currently serving as the Vice-Chair. Along with GUSA, Talia is also the Executive of Outreach on Georgetown's 1634 Society. Her favorite movie is Boondock Saints, but admits to be slightly enamored with Mean Girls.
Secretary - Nick DeLessio

Nick DeLessio is a freshman in the College and intends to major in Political Economy. He hails from state of Iowa and is very excited to be living in the great city of D.C. This is his first year serving on the GUSA Fund and he is currently serving as Secretary. He looks forward to exploring all that Georgetown has to offer and hopes to intern on Capitol Hill next semester
Treasurer - Mark Svensson

Mark Svensson is currently a senior at Georgetown University pursuing a Bachelor of Arts in Government. On campus Mark holds the following positions: Campus Director to the Clinton Global Initiative University, Treasurer of the Georgetown University Student Association Fund, and Chairman of the Water Justice. Upon graduation, Mark aspires to pursue a career in law.
Communications Director - Cody Cowan

Cody Cowan is a sophomore in the SFS, majoring in International Political Economy. He is from New York, and this is his second year on the Fund. Outside of the Fund, he is a Senior Staff member for NAIMUN, Georgetown's high-school model UN conference.
