GUSA Fund

The GUSA Fund is a $30,000 fund which utilizes monies collected from the student activities fee to further enhance student life at Georgetown. As an entity of the Student Association it serves as a resource for the Georgetown University community by co-sponsoring events and activities, in name or by monetary allocation, that are initiated by or benefit students. The Fund is governed by five students appointed by the GUSA Executive and approved by the GUSA Senate. While there are some stipulations on the funding (minimum levels of funding for diversity related events, civic engagement, and the arts), the majority of the $30,000 will remain unassigned, allowing for ample discretion throughout the year. In its current term this fall the Fund is essential in meeting the needs of student organizations and providing for experiences that enrich life in the classroom and beyond.
