UPDATE ON ENDOWMENT WORKING GROUPS

The GUSA Finance & Appropriations Committee is very excited by the progress of all the working groups this summer. Georgetown Energy still has more work to do, but their proposal is on track to become a reality with preparations for a referendum already underway. In addition, the SIPS Fund proposal has shown demonstrable progress and we look forward to working with them this fall. NSSC remains an active project. Lastly, the Healy Pub proposal awaits a final meeting with President Degioia regarding its ultimate viability.
Student money should always be spent prudently. We remain committed to writing a referendum that has enthusiastic student support and effectively spends money on projects beneficial to student life. More information regarding process is forthcoming.
